Liverpool had so many chances to win on the 7th Of May against Spurs. Liverpool were only 1 point behind Man City. When they drew against Spurs this gave Man City a major lead in terms of winning the premier league trophy. City won their games and even on the final match day, it seemed as if they were going to loose against Aston Villa but they won the match, sealing their victory for the 21/22 Premier league season. After the semi-final in the champions league it seemed as if City lost their confidence but in the remaining games in the premier league they showed their class and were back to winning ways up until the end.
